As a Solar Installer, you will work alongside experienced professionals to install, maintain, and service residential solar panel systems. Key Responsibilities • Install photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, racking systems, and inverters on residential rooftops according to project plans and safety standards (Osha) • Assist with site preparation, including measuring, layout, and ensuring safe work conditions • Identify and address electrical, environmental, and safety hazards on-site. • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed solar systems • Maintain accurate records of work performed and update job status as needed. • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, and company safety standards, including proper use of PPE. • Collaborate with project management and warehouse teams to coordinate materials and scheduling. • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members. • Attend ongoing training sessions to stay current on installation methods and safety procedures. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or relevant certifications a plus. • 2+ years of experience in solar panel installation required • Familiarity with hand and power tools, conduit bending, and safe ladder use45. • Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions, including heat and confined spaces5. • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work on your feet for extended periods5. • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record required5. • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certificate preferred. • Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality workmanship. • Good communication and teamwork skills. Solar Technician – El Centro, CA

Position Overview: The Solar Technician III is the most experienced field position which performs both electrical and mechanical services. The Solar Technician III primary objective is to ensure that all equipment serviced, operates at the highest level while providing leadership and training to other field positions. As the Solar Technician III, you will: • Demonstrate integrity, initiative, work ethic, as well as a commitment to safety and quality on all tasks assigned, on a continuous basis. • Complete all safety training as required by the company. • Ensure that all safety policies and procedures, related to any work performed, have been reviewed and understood before work begins. • Attend and participate in weekly safety meetings. • Oversee, provide direction, and training to Solar Technician 1 and Solar Technician 2 working in the area. • Ensure that all required Personnel Protective Equipment has been received, inspected and utilized in accordance with applicable safety policies and procedures. • Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on solar, energy storage and EV charging installations in accordance with MN8 and OEM standards. • Troubleshoot solar, energy storage and EV charging installations efficiently, determining the root cause and correct repair required to place the equipment back into service. • Complete all assigned task safely, correctly and in the allotted time. • Ensure all provided vehicles, tools, equipment, electronics, and parts are accounted for, well maintained, free of damage, properly stored and. • Accurately complete all required documentation, checklist, timecards and photography for work performed. • Complete all other duties and task which may be assigned by direct supervisor. Our ideal candidate will have: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Must be able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check. • Ability to communicate in English both orally and writing • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities • Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet based program navigation. • Proven experience understanding and implementing OSHA regulations. • Ability to read, interpret and understand basic design drawings and schematics. • Intermediate to advance electrical theory knowledge. • Knowledge of and ability to perform and interpret IV Curve tracing, in order to determine if an issue exists. Physical requirements: • Ability to drive a vehicle. • Availability to work on weekends as part of on-call rotations. • Ability to stand for long periods of time. • Ability to walk distances up to 5 miles in a day • Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and the like, maintaining 3 points of contact. • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound. • Ability to maintain body equilibrium while walking, standing, crouching, transitioning levels on level, narrow or slippery surfaces. • Required to have visual acuity which includes depth perception, field of vision and the ability to distinguish between colors. • Ability to work in outside environments which may include but are not limited to, extreme heat (temperatures above 100℉) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32℉) for periods of more than one hour. • Exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Other requirements: • Drive up to 6 hours per day to reach and return for project locations • Travel up to 50% of the time outside of the service area. • Work outside, in the environment up to 90% of the time, performing Preventive and Corrective Maintenances. • Work in a fast-changing environment which may require quick decisions with limited processes and procedures. General Summary This position is located in Calexico, CA This position is accountable for assisting with the implementation and maintenance of our Solar Quality Management system including; Site Specific QC Plan, QC/QA project management, supporting site QC field staff, and working directly with the Client QC team. Essential Job Accountabilities Follow Quality Management System to ensure construction and materials meet quality standards by analyzing and interpreting testing results. Analyze customer and project requirements and internal cost structure to maintainproject budgets. Further management support includes overseeing the billing and work order process to ensure project profitability is achieved. Support project by analyzing project data and communicating recommended courses of action, including the propriety of obtaining third-party verification of testing results. Further support project by interpreting Granite internal and owner/agency requirements and preparing quality control plans and development of RFI's. Evaluate project requirements and use quality control software to prepare tracking databases designed to ensure satisfactory project completion. Supervise Quality Control staff to ensure compliance with quality programs. Evaluate field QC staff's performance and assist management with job performance coaching. Evaluate vendor performance including services provided by third-party engineering firms.
