YEARS OF EXPERIENCE • 1+ years of solar installation QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED) • Previous experience in PV installations, roof work, general construction • Certification from an accredited program • Working knowledge of the NEC (National Electric Codes) • OSHA 10 • Solar/NABCEP certification (Preferred, not required) RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure work performed is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues • Work with local inspectors to pass all NEC and local codes • Read and understand electrical and structural PV designs • Assist with completion of installation reports and paperwork REQUIREMENTS • Knowledge of solar components, technology, equipment, electrical, roof and groundwork • Detailed knowledge of solar best practices • Ability to read and understand electrical wiring and structural diagrams • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Mandatory employer drug testing, medical exam and reference check • Ability to comfortably lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, work with tools, and work in crawl spaces and on rooftops in varying temperatures • Ability to perform advanced electrical calculations • Knowledge of NEC and ability to navigate it • Understanding of wire and conduit sizing • Excellent customer service skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to thrive in a team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $41,600.00 - $62,400.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Opportunities for advancement • Referral program • Vision insurance License/Certification: • Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: In person

The Senior Installer will be responsible for working as a member of the solar install crew, directing the crew on the roof and assisting with the mechanical portions of residential solar installation. This position will help organize and perform the safety equipment placement, array layout, racking installation, and module placement. Duties & Responsibilities • Managing the roof responsibilities and the crew • Ensuring all the proper materials are at the job site for the install • Ensuring the install is performed within the company quality standards • Training as needed on the roof • Responsible for learning the electrical ground work for solar • Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware • Assist with electrical wiring of energy products • Prepare and clean up job site • Follow all Safety Requirements and proper use of PPE at all times • Provide exceptional customer service to every customer throughout the installation process • Additional duties may be required as needed Requirements • Rooftop solar installation experience preferred • General construction/framing experience is a plus • Electrical experience is a plus • Working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing repetitious duties such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds of weight frequently throughout the workday • Ability to safely handle and maintain basic hand and power tools used for installation • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor • Ability to work well others in a collaborative team environment • Valid Driver's License • Must have a clean MVR and pass a background check and drug test
