Solar Foreman

Hard working foreman needed for Solar Company. As the leader of the solar team your duties include managing crew members, communicating with the office and assuring that every job is done with quality in a timely manner. Must have transportation to the office and a cell phone. Responsibilities: • Organize, lead, and train crew members • Effectively manage all aspects of the construction workflow • Maintain project documentation • Develop a positive working dynamic within your team and with branch coworkers • Analyze and resolve worker problems and recommend solutions • Maintain consistent customer relations throughout installation • Provide feedback to management • Perform service calls when necessary Qualifications: • A minimum of 4 years of Solar Foreman experience • Tesla Battery Certified • installation, including ability to complete duties of installers • Willing to Travel up to 60% of the time • Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards • Understanding of relevant OSHA standards • CPR and first aid certifications • Computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Word • Strong mechanical/construction abilities • Excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills • Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance) • Experience with electrical work involving wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC • Valid driver’s license • State electrical certification/license preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person

Solar Roof Lead

Position Summary As an Solar Roof Lead Installer, your responsibilities are to assemble and install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. May include measuring, assembling, electrical wiring, and bolting structural framing. Job Duties/ Responsibilities • Assemble all components of a residential solar system • Handle trenching and concrete work • Structurally mount racking and electrical equipment and effectively seal penetrations • Maintain a clean work site and safe working environment • Properly use Personal Protective Equipment • Ensure job sites are left clean • Attend mandatory safety meetings • Other duties as assigned Qualifications Requirements • Previous solar installation experience required minimum 1 year • Must have electrical and roof racking experience • Must have power and hand tools for the trade • Willing to travel up to 60% of the time • Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time • Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday • Attention to detail • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent customer service skills • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment • Must have a valid state driver's license • Must have a clean driving record Guyou Construction, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
