Solar Site Surveyor

About This Role: A Site Surveyor is required on all projects to provide the Design and Engineering team the required information to accurately build and permit the project plans for installation. A successful candidate for the Site Surveyor role will be capable of being a cross-functional team member by not only conducting site surveys, but also serve as an important role during the inspection process. Responsibilities: • Conduct site surveys for prospective customers as scheduled • Responsible for being present during the job inspection process • Provide detailed information regarding electrical, roof and structural • Upload all collected information in a timely manner • Represent LGCY Power in a professional and respectful manner • Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience through all interactions • Be a part of providing a safe, positive, and efficient work environment • Assist with additional tasks as assigned Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required • Keen attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Positive attitude and strong work ethic • Advanced organizational skills • Coachable, self-motivated, and accountable • Exceptional critical thinking skills • Must have reliable transportation • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record according to company policy Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Certifications: • OSHA 10 • Enphase experience/certifications • NABCEP PV Pro • National Electric Code knowledge • Knowledge of local AHJ/Utility requirements • First Aid & CPR Physical Requirements • Ability to lift 20+ pounds • Ability to withstand heights, climb ladders and be on roofs • Ability to bend, squat, stretch and lift • Ability to work in all weather and climates • Ability to travel up to 60% Schedule: • Monday-Friday • Weekends and OT may be required • Workdays and start times are subject to change dependent on weather and additional requirements What We Offer: • The pay scale for this non-exempt position is slated to be $22-28 depending on experience, licensing, and education (Pay scale is defined by the Labor Commissioner as the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position) • Competitive compensation • 401(k) option with employer match • Generous PTO accrual schedule • 8 Paid holidays • Attractive benefits package including health and dental coverage • Opportunity for career development and advancement with a rapidly growing company • High-energy, fun, and friendly culture About LGCY Power: LGCY Power is seeking highly motivated industry specialists to join our growing team of elite solar professionals. Job Details Job Location: Ontario Warehouse - Pomona, CA Salary Range: Undisclosed Description BrightOps is looking to find a motivated, talented PV Installer to join our team! We are looking for a team member who is comfortable working on roofs, someone who has basic carpentry skills, has good communication skills and is available to work overtime when necessary. Duties and Responsibilities: • Installing solar PV systems • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment • Arrive at job site at scheduled time • Act courteous and professional, respect the customers home • Work in all weather conditions • Climbing ladders and working at elevated heights of two or more stories • Must be comfortable harnessed on a roof - some roofs may be steep in pitch • Ability to climb ladders, comfortably lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and overhead • Knowledge and comfort with OSHA safety standards and strict adherence to company safety policies regarding fall protection, protective equipment, tailgate training and more • Maintaining a professional appearance and character on all job sites and with all customers and at all times • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • One year of solar installation experience preferred however, we are willing to train the right individual who may have the characteristics and skills we are looking for to fit in with our BrightOps team!
