Solar Installer (2 yrs Min. Experience Required)

Join our team in Los Angeles! As a Solar Installer, your responsibilities are to assemble, install, and/or maintain/service solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in accordance with design plans. May include but not be limited to; measuring, cutting, attaching, and assembling structural framing (racking systems), solar modules and other necessary components to complete a solar installation. Responsibilities: ● Assemble all components of a residential solar system. ● Handle trenching and concrete work ● Structurally mount racking and electrical equipment and effectively seal all penetrations ● Maintain a clean worksite and safe working environment ● Properly use Personal Protective Equipment ● May require some travel from time to time ● Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety meetings ● Other duties as may be assigned from time to time Qualifications: ● Previous solar installation experience preferred ● Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks ● Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops, and able to work on your feet for long periods of time ● Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday ● Attention to detail ● Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.) ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Excellent customer service skills ● Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance ● Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment ● Must have a valid state driver's license ● Must have a clean driving record ● This is Full Time and must be willing to comply with company policies. Description: This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar. Location: NorCal Reports to: Crew Travel: Field role Company: Citadel Roofing and Solar is a growing company that is made up of industry veterans with more than 30 years of experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction home builders throughout Northern and Central California. We are currently looking for a New Homes Solar Crew Member for our growing solar team! Description: Perform solar pre-wire installation as well as solar installation which will include ensuring all Citadel Safety, Installation Standards and job site roles are met. Must be able to follow directions and work with others, must be reliable, and hard working. Responsibilities: • Provide quality installations that will be able to be commissioned and inspected without issues • Provide 100% of required photos for each installation daily (no exceptions) • Communicate before installation with Citadel Crew Lead and or Superintendent if installations will not match solar layout exactly for approval to install and supply as-built drawing day of installation if different from solar layout • Provide weekly timecard and safety documents required for entire crew to be turned into Citadel Crew Lead on time and accurate • Make sure the jobsite is cleaned up daily and at the end of the project Compensation and Benefits: Citadel Roofing and Solar offers a competitive compensation package.
