Job Description: Perennial Energy in West Plains, MO is seeking a qualified candidate for Mechanical Engineer. This person would be responsible for developing and optimizing processes and equipment for biogas processing systems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, supporting small and large scale projects from design to implementation, performing data analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: • Design biogas processing systems and optimize functionality of systems • Create control objectives, control narratives, process drawings, and electrical • control drawings for project specific designs • Perform calculations for multiple design aspects per project, such as heating and • cooling, heat flux, mass and energy balances, estimated weights, etc. • Communicate with clients to ensure the project meets all requirements and • specifications. • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations • Collaborate with engineering teams on project design and execution Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field • Proficiency in mechanical and electrical design principles • Strong knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and industry safety • standards • Excellent verbal and written skills • Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of biogas systems preferred • Understanding of project management principles • Understanding the importance of cross functional collaboration • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus • Job Type: Full-time Pay: $67, $81,330.72 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
