job summary: Mechanical Drafter opportunity located in the Jefferson, MO area. This is a contract, possible temp to hire position for a skilled drafter to collaborate with diverse teams, including tooling design and maintenance, to create detailed mechanical drawings and digital models for 3D printing, bridging the gap between innovative ideas and production. location: Jefferson City, Missouri job type: Contract salary: $23.50 - 25.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: • Collaborate with tooling design, maintenance, and engineering teams to develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings from sketches and project specifications. • Create and optimize CAD models for 3D printing, ensuring dimensional accuracy and structural integrity for manufacturability. • Produce technical documentation, including assembly instructions and exploded views, to support project development and production. • Maintain accurate documentation of all design changes, revisions, and iterations for project tracking and future reference.
