You’ll feel good knowing that your work contributes to our visitors making positive, lasting memories. • As a member of the Planning & Development Program team, you join a group of committed professionals that prepares and coordinates all facility planning and development, as well as capital improvements and major repair projects. • You will work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. You must be capable of simultaneously managing projects that vary in scope, urgency, and public profile. • Project work is done at all stages and phases of a project’s life, from the initial proposal through the final construction close-out. Involvement can include feasibility & suitability studies, conceptual development, obtaining environmental permits and clearances, project design, cost estimation, construction document development, oversight of budgets and completion schedules, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. • Developing and managing projects includes cost estimating, budget development, and monitoring expenditures over the life of a project. • Project management can include coordinating construction operations with allied professionals, monitoring project progress through on-site meetings and communications with in-house construction crews, producing change orders, scrutinizing budget adjustments, approving construction quality, as well as, managing contracted design and construction projects. Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri. Project Engineer

This position is classified as a full-time, exempt (salaried) role. While it offers the benefits and expectations of a regular full-time position, it is project-based in nature and is anticipated to have a defined duration of approximately 12-18 months, subject to business needs and project timelines. Background & Purpose of the Job: The Project Engineer position will be based at site (Jefferson City) to manage and support end-to-end delivery of the transformational capital projects for the Unilever Personal Care Liquids Factories in Jefferson City, Missouri and Jonesboro, Arkansas. This role reports to Head of B&W and PC Engineering Transformation. Who You Are & What You will Do: Organized and detail oriented to deliver capital projects at site fully securing safety, product quality, project timing, and cost. This role will be supported by full-time and hired contractors/Construction Management firms to execute the projects. The Project Engineer takes a leadership role over the portfolio of transformational projects, coordination with site operations, and acts as the project representative to external teams (R&D, brand, procurement, suppliers, etc.). You love to win and have fun doing it: A passion for success is a must. You are detailed oriented and able to manage multiple projects/ activities at the same time. You have technical expertise in total systems approach (process or packing) in all work efforts to deliver on time in full end to end projects, adhering to Unilever standards and ensuring safety as a value. What You'll Need to Succeed: • BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree. • 3+ Years of Engineering in FMCG / foods / related Industry or gained in an engineering consultancy environment. • Project Management, maintenance, and/or continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; along with the ability to negotiate. • First-hand experience delivering major capital projects ($5-10million) within Unilever or similar fast-moving consumer goods or foods manufacturing environment from cradle to grave. • Experience in World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Lean manufacturing, and/or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a plus. Pay: The pay range for this position is $68,000 to $102,000.
