How You’ll Make an Impact • Design and develop mechanical components for distribution transformers using 2D and 3D software. • Lead and participate in customer specification and design reviews. • Prepare technical reports and documentation to meet internal and external standards. • Provide timely engineering support across departments and respond to customer inquiries. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet industry standards. • Support vendor development and qualification of new parts. • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives. • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, or similar 3D modeling software. • Familiarity with industrial standards and design practices. • Knowledge of pad-mounted transformers (preferred). • Experience with IEEE and CSA standards for distribution transformers (preferred). Mechanical Engineering Technician

Mechanical Engineering Technician Full-time Jefferson, OH • Maintenance Description Job Summary: The Mechanical Engineering Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining both mechanical and electrical production-related equipment; and performing preventative maintenance as scheduled to minimize and eliminate unplanned machine down time. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive): · Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery, being able to utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). · Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical drive systems, conveyors, Forge Presses, Trim Presses, CNC machinery, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, process water systems and other equipment as assigned. · Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing. · Gather parts and perform repairs. · Work with Maintenance Manager to continually update the maintenance process(es) and system(s). · Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime. · Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists and hand tools. · Assess the condition of used, worn, faulty parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications. · Maintain parts and tools inventory through parts consumption via work orders. · Enter job/work information into CMMS on a routine basis · Have a general understanding of electrical systems including 480VAC 3Ø, 120VAC and 24VDC, being able to safely work around these systems as you perform maintenance functions. · Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops and technical reading. · Able to adhere to safety and performance standards Requirements Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: · Minimum of 10 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required · Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics · Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment · Comfortable with computers · Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools · Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred · Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. · Able to work off shifts and weekends, as assigned. · Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision · Excellent problem-solving and communication skills · Minimum high school diploma or GED · Advanced technical or college training preferred · Military Experience a plus (Engine, Aircraft, Heavy Equipment Maintenance) · Experience with Predictive Maintenance, such as Thermography, Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound, Tribology (Oil Analysis). · CMRT, CRL Certification a plus Salary Starting: $30.00 hour an up base on skills

Position Description The Manufacturing Systems Engineer will support plant-level implementation and optimization of manufacturing systems, automation technologies, and digital tools. Reporting directly to the Automation & Mechatronics Lead, this role will focus on improving production efficiency, system reliability, and data integration within the assigned plant. The engineer will also contribute to cross-plant standardization efforts and collaborate with central and site teams to ensure alignment with corporate manufacturing strategies. This role requires a technically skilled and hands-on engineer with experience in manufacturing systems, automation, and process improvement. Required Education & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field • 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering, automation, or industrial controls. • Hands-on experience with MES, PLCs, HMIs, and digital manufacturing tools. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments. • Willingness to travel occasionally to other plants for training or project support.
