Controls Engineer Intern

Position Summary: Fidus Global is seeking a motivated Controls Engineering Intern with a passion for learning and assisting in the design, installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and support of industrial controls. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in controls engineering and PLC programming by applying control theory, programming, data analysis and troubleshooting within a real-world engineering context. Internship Duration, Hours, and Location: The expected duration of this internship is late April to end of September, requiring a minimum of 40 hours a week and the ability to travel to various locations across the US 90% of the time. Responsibilities: • Acquire the skills and necessary knowledge to assist in designing, configuring, deploying, and commissioning industrial control networks. • Learn and help in programming and commissioning control devices including PLCs and HMIs. • Support the engineering team in troubleshooting network and control system issues. • Aid in the installation and testing of control systems at client sites to understand performance, identify problems, and recommend improvements. • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deliverables are met. • Communicate cross-functionally to ensure project deliverables. • Follow industry-specific regulations and standards. • Work closely with senior engineers to contribute to larger projects in development and deployment of control systems. Hydraulic Engineer

Job Summary: This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining hydraulic systems used in our manufacturing products, processes, and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of fluid mechanics, hydraulic components, and system integration to enhance the efficiency and performance of our machinery. General Maintenance Mechanic

Perform a wide range and variety of maintenance and repair operations necessary to keep plant property, equipment, machinery, and tools in good operating condition; diagnose problems and work in many varied and diversified capacities required in general maintenance, overhaul, and repair of plant equipment, processes and facilities. Requires a general knowledge of electronics and electrical systems to include basic electrical repairs as needed or directed. Plan and schedule plant and equipment maintenance activities to minimize disruption to plant production and material handling activities with some supervision and direction provided by the Plant Superintendent.
