Mechanic II - Engineering

SUMMARY: The Mechanic II must have the ability to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturers' specifications and preventive maintenance schedules. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in general maintenance, preferably in hospital maintenance. Certifications: Obtain Industrial Fork lift operators certification within 6 months of date of hire/transfer date. Must be able to acquire an Arkansas Boiler License within one year from start of boiler training. Must obtain and hold an Arkansas Hospital Plumbers license within 2 years of date of hire/transfer date. Obtain and hold an industrial Electrician license 1 year before moving to Mechanic III position. Other: Must hold and keep a current Arkansas driver's license and a driving record that meets and maintains requirements set forth by the hospital insurance carrier. Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
