What You’ll Do As a Senior Engineer, Mechanical, you’ll evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures, using your judgment to adapt and innovate machine designs. In this role you will: • Lead Product Design: Develop and review drawings, specifications, and proposals to ensure product quality and alignment with requirements • Drive Technology Development: Research and develop new technologies to enhance production capabilities and implement product and process improvements • Guide New Product Development: Participate in new product design teams using NPD stage-gate processes, contributing expertise throughout the project lifecycle. • Deliver Documentation: Provide complete drawing packages and technical documentation to Product Managers and Manufacturing teams. • Resolve Customer Issues: Recommend corrective actions and support customer problem resolution, including on-site assistance for machine start-up, installation, troubleshooting, and training. • Collaborate Across Functions: Support Manufacturing, Sales, Service, HR, Finance, Installation, and Training teams with engineering expertise. • Maintain Product Information: Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of product data and documentation. • Provide Engineering Support: Offer backup support to the Engineering team and perform additional duties as assigned. As a Senior Engineer, Mechanical at Park Industries, you’ll primarily work standard business hours Monday to Friday, with availability for extended hours when project needs require. Experience and Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required), Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) • 5+ years of engineering experience (required) • Experience in the design of CNC or robotic equipment • Experience with 3D CAD modeling AutoCAD/Inventor • Experience in a manufacturing environment • Familiarity with ERP/JDE systems • Ability to perform hand calculations for both load and deflection • High level of analytical ability with experience in mechanical analysis and FEA tools • Knowledgeable in the design of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Why Join Us At Park Industries, we cultivate a culture of innovation, teamwork, and growth. Pay Transparency Statement In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salaried rate for this position ranges from $73,000.00 to $94,250.00.
