Responsibilities • Fabricate raw metal panels using drill presses, saws, and various other power tools • Wire new panels using a variety of wire gauges • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics • Package, organize, and deliver goods as needed • Set up test equipment and troubleshoot panels (training provided) Skills • Blueprints and schematics. • Mechanical and electrical assembly experience. • Soldering and wiring. Mechanical Engineer(HVAC & Plumbing)

Overview: One of that nations-top Architecture/Engineering firms who specializes in large and highly complex projects around the world, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer(HVAC & Plumbing) to join their rapidly-growing team. This role offers the opportunity to act as a leader in the Mechanical Engineering department, supervise staff's day to day responsibilities while acting as the technical leader on all projects. Responsibilities • Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls. • Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents • Deliver projects across multiple delivery models, including design/bid/build, design assist, design build • Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Higher Education and Science & Technology • Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business Qualifications • Professional Degree in Engineering required from an accredited four-year university • P.E. Nordic Ware is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to create and maintain detailed drawings for our cookware and bakeware products. This role will collaborate with engineering, design, quality, and production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the drafting process. This position will also work closely with purchasing, production, and other departments to support the manufacturing process, including utilizing Epicor and other systems essential to product development and production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and proficient in SolidWorks, with a passion for precision in product drawings used for quality checks. What you will get to do: Product Drafting & Design • Create, revise, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for both new and existing Nordic Ware products. • Generate drawings from 3D CAD models, sketches, specifications, or blueprints to ensure accurate product design and documentation. • Organize and maintain CAD files, ensuring all product drawings are current and properly archived. • Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure product drawings meet manufacturing and quality standards. Collaboration & Project Assistance • Work closely with engineering, design, quality, and production departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of drafting tasks. • Provide input on design considerations to help align final drawings with production requirements. • Track progress on assigned projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency. Occasional Support for Other Projects • Develop and modify production or building layouts to enhance workflow and space utilization. • Provide drafting support for machinery and equipment updates to help optimize plant operations. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on special drafting or design needs as they arise. What you'll bring to the role: • Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred. • 1+ year of drafting experience, or equivalent experience through a completed GD&T course. • Proficiency in SolidWorks; some AutoCAD experience is beneficial. • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials; prior manufacturing experience preferred. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. • Experience or familiarity with metals, plastics molding, and chemical coating applications preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.). • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. • Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Resourcefulness and creativity in finding effective solutions to design and production challenges. Physical Requirements • Position requires prolonged periods of sitting while performing job duties. • Ability to move throughout the plant and work in both office and production environments. • Capacity to communicate technical information clearly and understand instructions from team members. • Must be able to lift and carry up to thirty (30) pounds. • Requires reaching, grasping, climbing, kneeling, and occasional physical movement for measurements. • Must be able to wear required PPE (e.g., hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, sleeves, safety-toed footwear) while on the production floor. • Some exposure to noise, dust, paint odors, and high temperatures; hearing and eye protection required.
