Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will play a pivotal role in developing detailed work instructions and visual aids for product assembly. This position requires collaboration with production operators and technicians to establish manufacturing standards, methods for inspection, testing, and product qualification. Responsibilities • Develop detailed work instructions and visual aids for product assembly. • Interface with production operators and technicians to establish manufacturing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and product qualification. • Interpret technical documentation related to product manufacturing and acceptability, such as schematics, engineering drawings, customer-controlled specifications, and military/industry standards. • Support the implementation of all key matrices by recording, summarizing, and presenting data/information to department operations. • Monitor trends in quality data, execute corrective actions, and identify continual improvement opportunities in response to product and process failures. • Drive the optimization of process efficiency and effectiveness through collaboration with production operators, supervisors, and technicians by utilizing effective root cause and corrective action analysis. Essential Skills • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline preferred. • 1+ years of experience within a manufacturing engineering-related role. • Proficiency in manufacturing engineering. • Expertise in root cause analysis and process improvement. • Experience in lean manufacturing. • Solidworks proficiency. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Continuous improvement experience. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Work Environment You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and work within a team of engineers and technicians.
