This opportunity is also open to candidates residing in the following areas: Minnetonka MN, Rochester MN, Mankato MN, Des Moines IA, Sioux City, SD, Duluth MN, St. Cloud MN, or you can work Remote- Minnesota!! At SEH, our Mechanical and Electrical engineering teams deliver efficient, reliable and stable systems for buildings across the country – they design solutions knowing a reliable mechanical and electrical system is the backbone of a highly functional facility. You’ll work on everything from skyscrapers to small tenant improvements, utilities and water/wastewater facilities, grocery to retail and laboratories to educational facilities. The team focuses on projects ranging from simple studies to complete documentation of systems for construction. Essential Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering • Licensed Professional Engineer in MN. • Experience in Commercial and/or Industrial system design, piping, and HVAC • Manage work activities and project team responsibilities and report to supervisor on status of workload • Proficient in applicable design codes, design standards, specification requirements and ability to interpret them • Interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, field surveys, construction observation, etc. Preferred Qualifications • 8+ years related experience • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Previous Project Management experience. Manufacturing Engineer

Description: Manufacturing Engineer Yanmar Compact Equipment North America designs, manufactures and supports a complete range of compact equipment including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders and construction equipment for use in such markets as construction, landscaping, utility, land management and agriculture. The products are sold primarily through a third party, independent dealer network. OVERVIEW: The Manufacturing Engineer will support the planning, designing, implementing and managing of integrated production systems that ensure the highest level of safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance of our processes and products in the compact equipment industry. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning processes with health and safety policies and regulations. • Develop and maintain manufacturing process documentation and instructions. • Develop, design and maintain manufacturing tooling and equipment. • Analyze labor and equipment utilization, facility layout, processes, and operational data such as production costs, process flow, and production schedules to identify cost reductions and improve utilization of space and equipment. • Identify new manufacturing technologies and ideas to improve manufacturing processes. • Perform detailed and accurate research, justification, and recommendation for capital expenditures and new equipment. • Prepare time, cost and resource estimates for proposed projects and coordinate layout and workstation improvement activities. • Provide leadership and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects across multiple departments. • Work with operations leadership to continuously improve safety and quality, and to identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase throughput. • Work with operations leadership to foresee and establish future investment and labor needs according to company plans. • Review and analyze new and existing product designs regarding process, tooling, labor and cost impacts. Make recommendations to improve manufacturability, improve quality, and to reduce costs. • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university. • One (1) year of related engineering experience. • Proficient with computers including MS Office and CAD. • Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Three (3) years of Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering or Quality Engineering experience. • Experience with industrial manufacturing methods such as laser cutting, forming, machining, welding, paint processes, assembly tooling and practices. • Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen concepts and goals. • Experience with Creo and Windchill. • Experience with application of GD&T. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: • Ability to understand engineering drawings and interpret design intent. • Strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills including the ability to teach others. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills. • Ability to work independently and have a high level of initiative to resolve problems and drive improvements. • Ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships and teams both inside and outside of the organization. • Strong ability to collaborate with and/or lead cross-functional teams. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and meeting timelines. • Strong hands-on mechanical ability. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Design Engineer - Municipal

The majority of your time will be spent assisting project managers and project engineers in design and construction phase activities on Municipal projects. This position is open to December 2024, May 2025 graduates or an experienced EIT with 1-3 years of experience. What You Will Be Doing • Assist Project Engineers with design and construction phase activities on municipal projects • Perform basic design computations, preliminary layout and design, research and prepare rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies • Assist with project plans and specifications, preparing cost and quantity take-off estimates • Construction observation activities may include performing construction staking, performing construction administration duties such as documenting activities, measuring and testing, providing general oversight, and interacting with contractors, sub-contractors, residents and City staff.
