Education/Experience/ Skills Required: • Demonstrated knowledge and skills to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, pneumatic temperature control equipment, pumps, air compressors, refrigeration systems, ice-making equipment, food service equipment, and associated components of these systems. • Post-secondary certificate in a building maintenance related field. • Required to be Universal CFC Certified. • Demonstrated knowledge and skill using a variety of diagnostic equipment; including a volt/ohm/ampere meter, refrigerant manifold gauge, air velocity, pressure meter, and air-monitoring tools. • Working knowledge of computer based energy management and programmed maintenance systems. • Welding and metal fabrication skills required. • Able to work independently; self-starter. • A positive, cooperative service oriented attitude. • A valid Minnesota driver’s license with a good record (subject to verification). • Neat and safe work habits. • Must pass a background check. Preferred: • A Minnesota Grade C operating engineer’s license strongly desired. • Experience working with food service equipment. • Experience with residential systems installation and repair.
