Mechanical Machine Technician

Position is located in Brainerd, MN. No remote work option is available. Overall, Job Summary: Responsible for the assembly, testing & debug, customer interface and shipping preparation of machinery that ranges from above average too difficult in complexity. Other responsibilities include fostering teamwork, on time deliveries, safety, quality, and cost improvements. Industrial Drafter with Mechanical Expertise

Kramer Solutions LLC is adding a drafter position to support its work with a Class I Railroad in Brainerd, MN. The ideal candidate for this position will have several years of experience as a mechanic in an industrial setting with strong knowledge of general mechanical engineering requirements, 12V/24V electrical systems, and also hydraulic systems before they became a drafter. They will also have a thorough understanding of SolidWorks 3d Software and 2D AutoCAD drafting. SolidWorks 3D software will be utilized to support CNC machines and other functions where 3D is required. The ideal candidate is the type of person that works on all their own vehicles and equipment as they have the mechanical know how to work on them. Responsibilities: - Draft 2D structural, mechanical parts, electrical, and hydraulic schematics of railroad equipment. - Draft structural and mechanical parts in Solid Works software to support CNC machines and other functions as needed. -Work with Railroad Union members to accurately draft structural, electrical, and hydraulic systems that are being worked on. -Work remotely (home office) and travel to Brainerd, MN at least 1 time weekly possibly up to 3 -Report to Manager weekly. -Coordinate with Railroad Management and working personnel in a respectful and responsive way. -Maintain organized files and records of all drawings and design revisions.
