Maintenance Engineer

Endeavor Hotel Group, LLC is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Maintenance Engineer for The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes located in Baxter, Minnesota! The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for building maintenance activities for all hotel equipment and utilities located throughout the hotel facility. This position will undertake repair, replacement, and general services to ensure hotel equipment functions safely for guests and employees. This position is responsible for the following functions: • Perform electrical, plumbing, and carpentry projects and coordinate these projects with management as needed • Regularly remove waste from containers both indoors and outdoors • Identify and complete maintenance and upkeep tasks to the property exterior as necessary • Maintain and repair HVAC system • Plan and complete daily pool maintenance cleaning as well as pool equipment inspection tasks to ensure pool area equipment and fixtures function safely at all times • Complete regular planned inspection and maintenance tasks for all hotel equipment located in hotel rooms, lobby, and other hotel facilities • Complete repairs and inspections for building safety fixtures, including fire alarms, building cameras, etc. • Respond quickly to resolve customer and employee requests for equipment repair and maintenance • Diagnose and determine needs for contract repair services, and communicate needs with hotel management • Document all repair and maintenance activities • Assist housekeeping, front desk, and other departments as needed • Various other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience for the position • Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance and repair • Knowledge of swimming pool maintenance and repair • General knowledge of maintenance and repair of hotel furniture, plumbing, electrical and motorized equipment • Self-motivation, attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, interpersonal communication skills, equipment repair experience and skills, project tracking and prioritization abilities About Endeavor Inn & Suites: The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes is located in Baxter, MN, and is committed to providing its staff with a positive and fulfilling workplace by providing the support needed to ensure their guests receive incomparable guest service and amenities.
