We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support our SJE Rhombus brand and work out of our Detroit Lakes, MN location. The job: As our Manufacturing Engineer, your primary role will be to collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to support product transfers to the best manufacturing location. You will assist with integrating new products and product modifications into production as well as upgrading work instructions and routings. You will devise, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes while using Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and standardize production. You will support the Maintenance team with technical troubleshooting and machinery upgrades. The skills, education, and experience you need: To succeed in this role, you must: • Have experience with product planning • Be able to provide innovation through collaboration with a team • Be proficient in working with hand and power tools • Have experience in designing work centers for capacity, efficiency, and safety to meet required takt times • Be willing to travel to other locations to assist with projects as needed A 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent degree and 1-2 years of experience are preferred. Mechatronics Technician

Responsibilities • Wiring and labeling control panels • Be able to follow electrical Schematics and follow bill of materials • Mount and wire controllers, motors, VFDS, relays, motor starters, circuit-breakers panels, indicator lights, disconnects, and switches into enclosures using; screws, bolts, and hand/power tools. • Test continuity of the circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as an ohmmeter, and/or megger. • Running tests on equipment • Troubleshooting problems • Working with AC & DC drives, electrical component analysis, use of electrical meters and oscilloscopes, and basic mechanical repair. • Work on AC and DC systems up to 600 volts • Programming motors & VFDs • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and install electrical conduit using tools such as hacksaw, pipe threader, and conduit bender • Work is project-orientated, and you may be working on several projects, all at various stages, at any given time.
