X-Ray Field Service Engineer (MN-WI)

• Performs assigned planned maintenance, installation, repairs, adjustments, calibrations and safety testing on a broad range of imaging equipment; including but not limited to: conventional x-ray, ultrasound, CR, DR, mammography • Performs incoming inspections, equipment quality control, testing, calibration and image evaluation of equipment according to manufactures specifications and other established guidelines • Works closely with management, sales team, and other service team staff members • Adheres to performance metrics of PM completion, call closure, parts returns, first call repair, escalation protocols, downtime, and others as assigned • Maintains timely, accurate and thorough documentation via strong verbal/written communications, as required by management, and outlined in current policies and procedures QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Willing to travel in IL, IN, MI, WI • Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record is mandatory • Successful Background and Drug testing (pre and post-hire) is required • Must be self-driven to optimize performance without the need for extensive supervision • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment • Bachelor degree in electronic technology, or engineering preferred. • Minimum of 1 year of’ experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment. • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. • Strong knowledge of radiology physics, digital technology, and mechanics. • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to imaging equipment, radiation safety and protection practices. • Broad knowledge of imaging performance based on regulations, manufacturing practices and institutional requirements SKILLS: • Knowledge of electronics and basic troubleshooting • General knowledge of networked equipment • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, as well as analytical & organizational skills • Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook required) • Results Oriented & Demonstrates Excellent Customer Service Skills • Must have working knowledge of the following pieces of equipment: VOM Meters, Radiation Meters, Hand Tools, Oscilloscopes, Safety Analyzers, Imaging Phantoms, Power Tools, HV Probes, HV Bleeders, Test Fixtures, and Attenuation Devices PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear • Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling • Must be able to stand for long periods of time Base salary Car Allowance with gas Medical Insurance. 401k plan with a matching benefit program. Application Engineer, Central North Region (IA, WI, MN)

Title: Applications Engineer I Reports to: Applications Coordinator Location: DMG MORI TC Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Classification: Non Exempt Travel: 25 – 50% Employment is conditioned on DMG MORI's ability to obtain and maintain any necessary export licensing. Provide technical support in person or over the phone for customers, sales, and trade shows for CNC Machines. Complete time studies, test cuts and machine demonstrations as per customer requirements. Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Responsibilities include up to and not limited to: • Perform application engineering work under direct supervision. • Participate in training activities with senior colleagues, internal academy, and external resources. • Compile fixtures/ work holding for demo’s, test cuts, and turnkeys. • Conduct time estimates for customer parts. • Calculation of optimal speeds and feeds for part processing. • Use CAPPS conversational programming, industry standard CAM systems, and direct G-Code/ Macro programming to generate CNC programs for parts processing. • Setup CNC machines with program, tooling, workpiece, and fixtures. • Inspection of finished parts for quality and accuracy. • Generate engineering reports and technical documentation. • Frequent communication with internal technical staff, external customers, and external suppliers. Minimum Requirements: • BS Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred, and/or machining knowledge. • 0-2 years related experience. • Knowledge in part processing, metal cutting, CNC programming, reading drawings, and machine setup. • Basic understanding of Metallurgy. • Proven experience to communicate professionally with internal and external customers. • Proven flexibility with shifting priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Proven organizational skills, with high attention to detail. • Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime with advance notice. • Strong analytical/problem solving abilities. • Proficient in MS Office Suite. Work Environment: Exposure to manufacturing/machining environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery. General office environment experienced at DMG MORI office. Physical Demands: Frequent: Travel, operating a vehicle, standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, sitting and reaching. Pushing, pulling, and lifting objects. Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements. Periodic: Operating power equipment, sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones.
