Facilities Mechanic

Overview Lake Limerick Country Club (LLCC), a private community in Mason County, Washington. We are seeking an experienced Facilities Mechanic, who will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of all golf course and grounds maintenance equipment. This is a Full-Time, year-round position. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive Maintenance Program: • Conduct an effective preventive maintenance program in conjunction with operators to minimize mechanical failures and ensure peak performance of all golf course equipment. • Keep detailed records of parts and labor for each piece of equipment. • Place orders for necessary parts and supplies to maintain equipment service. 2. Safety and Cleanliness: • Prioritize safety in all maintenance tasks. • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service area and maintenance building. 3. Daily Maintenance Assistance: • Assist in the daily maintenance procedures of greens, tees, fairways, rough equipment care, irrigation, and other maintenance practices. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical problems for all maintenance equipment and golf carts. • Set heights and sharpen blades on cutting units; perform necessary cuts and welds for equipment and mowing units. • Mechanical and reel maintenance skills are preferred. 4. Training and Instruction: • Instruct and train golf course maintenance workers on preventive maintenance, proper cleaning, and safe operation of equipment. • Train staff on the proper use and operation of equipment. 5. Additional Duties: • Maintain an orderly and efficient shop area. • Regulate employees' use of equipment in the absence of the superintendent and assistant superintendent. • Perform other duties as directed by the superintendent. Experience Required: • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in a related field (e.g., turf management, mechanics) preferred • 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related field • Knowledge of golf course equipment and machinery • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Additional Details: We are committed to offering competitive compensation for all our Lake Limerick Country Club positions. The hiring range for this position is generally between $28-$31 per hour. This is a full-time, year-round position.
