Perimeter Security Partners is looking for a motivated TRAVELING Field Technician with strong electrical and mechanical experience to maintain and repair access control points (ACPs), Active Vehicle Barriers and associated equipment throughout the United States. The Field Technician will conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on vehicle barriers and safety systems, portable message boards and generators light carts, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems at industrial, commercial, government and military sites. Duties: • The Field Technician must be able to work independently with little supervision, and to be a positive representative for Perimeter Security Partners with clients. • Assess, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ACP & AVB equipment and CCTV systems. • Identifying and resolving issues within hydraulic systems and components (pumps, valves, cylinders, etc.) • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment using checklists, manufacturer’s guidance, and technical expertise. • Provide daily reports on equipment condition, services performed, and additional work needed. • Develop material / equipment lists and labor estimates to correct deficiencies. • Perform repairs, including replacing worn or damaged parts, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, fluid checks, and filter changes. • Coordinate closely with Client security and other personnel to safely conduct maintenance and service actions while minimizing operational impacts. • Draft and organize electronic documentation following each repair or preventive maintenance visit, including compiling receipts, reviewing completed checklists, obtaining Client approval signature(s), composing technician reports, and other close-out documents. • Operate in a safe manner and coordinate maintenance of a service vehicle.
