Job Title: Mechanical Designer Job Description This role involves the complete layout, design, and documentation of designs and assemblies utilizing CAD software. The Mechanical Designer will assist engineers with design changes and manufacturability while exercising independent discretion. Responsibilities • Perform complete layout, design, and documentation of designs and assemblies using CAD software. • Assist engineers with design changes and improve manufacturability. • Exercise independent discretion in design tasks. Essential Skills • Proficiency in mechanical design and drafting. • Experience with CAD software, specifically Pro-e and Creo. • Strong mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Associates degree in Design/Drafting. • 6+ months of experience with Design (open to entry-level or experience individual) • 6+ months of experience with Creo is preferred but familiarity with other CAD programs is acceptable. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Red wing, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
