We are looking for a Plant Engineer for our Mattoon, IL Plant! Summary: We are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to lead projects to implement new products, processes and materials into the production phase in order to improve cost competitiveness and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability. Essential Duties: • Analyzes & Improves manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput. • Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. • Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements and workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. • Creates, understands, and interprets engineering drawings, process specifications and design intents. Understands and interprets 3D models. Understands and interprets geometric tolerance, design intent, and primary design features. • Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials or parts and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. • Develops mechanical design and drafting of products and production jigs and machinery. • Performs cost studies to determine lowest cost of manufacturing and coordinates the implementation of these changes. • Confers with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes. • Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. • Provides engineering support in production department to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems. • Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output. • Supports company policies and procedures, goals and objectives and goods manufacturing practices. • Develops, configures, and optimizes industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification. • Perform process simulations. • Perform risk assessments. • Provide process documentation and operating instructions. S.) in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university. • 2-5 years’ experience in a high paced continuous manufacturing environment. Computer Skills: • Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook. • Proficient in CAD & Solid Works software. Other Skills and Requirements: • Proven working experience in process engineering. • Excellent technical skills. • Knowledge of process related standards. • Experience in process simulations. • Must be self-motivated and proficient in developing and executing to a project timeline. • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills. • Good to excellent communication skills (written and oral). • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills. • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. • Must have the desire to strive for continuous improvement and excellence within a fast-paced growth environment. • Previous Lean manufacturing experience desired. Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description As a Manufacturing Engineer focusing on Machining, you will design new products, provide engineering support for existing products, develop components for application to new or existing products, and reduce costs for existing designs. This role involves working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities • Support existing production products and manage technical assignments that contribute to larger projects. • Select appropriate techniques to solve problems and make informed process and programming recommendations using vertical and horizontal machines, as well as lathes, to ensure results meet established design standards and customer specifications. • Develop and apply automation technology systems, vision systems, and laser QR etching. • Develop and support quality inspections using various systems and tools. Essential Skills • Bachelor's or technical school degree in engineering-related discipline. • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting. • Proficiency in reading and writing G and M code with a solid understanding of GD&T. • Experience with Autodesk CAD/CAM software, with NX CAM being advantageous. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in CNC programming and CMM programming. • Quality experience, including gauge selection and planning. • Skills in pneumatics/hydraulics and CAD (2D & 3D). • Self-motivated with a mindset to find answers independently. • Driven and eager for new challenges and knowledge. Work Environment You will be part of a product support team, assisting CNC setup operators and managing process improvements such as ECN's, cost control, and cycle time reductions. The schedule is from 7:00 am to 4/4:30 pm with flexibility, and there might be occasional night calls during busy winter months. The environment is collaborative, with weekly team meetings for scorecards and problem-solving, fostering open communication and shared success. Automotive Technician We are seeking a skilled and experienced automotive technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing repair and service on customer and dealership vehicles within management's guidelines for productivity, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Review vehicle history and any factory bulletins that apply to vehicle make and model, paying special attention to outstanding campaigns. • Complete system diagnostics and automotive trouble shooting and testing. • Report required vehicle work to management for approval. • Make notes regarding proposed and additional work on hard copy or technician terminal. • Upon repair authorization, request necessary parts from the parts department and return any parts that have been requested to be saved by the customer or factory. • Help team members with customer retention and provide daily status report. • Perform various vehicle repairs after approval and receipt of parts. • Test drive vehicles as necessary to diagnose and verify repair. • Inform dispatcher, advisor, team leader, or electronic technician terminal of job completion and make any final notes regarding recommended work. • Keep informed of all safety guidelines of management and other agencies, especially disposal of hazardous waste. • Participate in continuing education and maintain training and/or certification records. • Keep work areas clean and maintain good condition of personal and shop tools. • Other duties as assigned by management.
