Weekend Day Shift Mechanical Assembly Technician

Reporting directly to Mechanical Assembly Supervisor we are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician for our Weekend Day Shift to be based at our Centralia, IL facility. Fri. Sat, & Sun. 5:00am to 5:30 pm. 36 hours Full Time w/additional hours available. Essential Functions. Other Duties as Assigned. Assembly • Install a variety of electrical equipment and component devices such as: cable trays, conduit, brackets, pipe hangers, assembly mounts for HVAC units, pumps, etc. Measure, cut, and bend buss bar for specific projects. Level skids. • Assemble structural framework and Frame CAD wall assembles on skids. Install roof panels and trusses. • Assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. • Follow quality process in checking procedures and equipment to verify mechanical integrity of units. • Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly. • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications. • Torque assemblies to spec. Perform basic troubleshooting duties as required and diagnose cause of mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and make necessary repairs. Siding & Doors • Measure fit and install interior/exterior insulation and/or panels. • Install various types of siding, windows, and metal panel products on modular buildings, skids, E-houses and other portable structures. • Mount and install door assemblies. • Install panic hardware and closures. • Install roofing material. • Measure, cut, trim and bend product according to specifications • Cut and trim access holes and penetrations. • Troubleshoot engineering and fabrication defects. • Waterproof surfaces by filling joints, cracks with calking compound. • Perform exterior trim work. • Perform installations compliant with current regulations and customer specifications. • Responsible for assigned project completion, quality, and delivery according to work schedule. • Design, build, and erect shipping split walls. • Prep building for shipping. Clean and touch up. Tools and Equipment • Various hand tools – wrenches, screwdriver, utility knife, laser level, drill and impact, skill saw, etc. • Use overhead crane, forklift, scissor lifts, hoists, to assist in mechanical assembly and moving materials/projects • May operate sand blaster Other Essential Duties • Maintains regular and consistent job attendance, comes to work on time • Follows and complies with IE Core Values • Follow and comply with IE safety program. • Must maintain a safe and clean work area at all times Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • High School Diploma plus one-year experience working as a skilled laborer in heavy industrial manufacturing operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to read and understand basic wiring schematics and layout diagrams. • Experience with various hand tools. • Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision. • Confident with the ability to work closely with other technicians and management while keeping production flowing and meeting due dates • Demonstrated proficiency to achieve high quality results in mechanical assemblies, siding of buildings, installing cable trays and components and continual attention to quality and detail in the final assembly stage of production. • Must be detail oriented and committed to producing quality work • Must be able to get along with co-workers, supervisors, management, etc. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Willingness to take ownership of and resolve challenging technical support issues • Strong bias for being proactive and getting results • Ability to work within timelines. • Must be willing to travel up to 5% of time. • The employee must occasionally lift 50 lbs. and move up to 100 pounds. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision, Color Vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. • The employee is frequently required to stand; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or smell. • The employee is frequently required to stand and walk and must be able to perform frequent heavy lifting and continual bending and standing on a concrete floor. • Must be able to safely climb up and down ladders and work at heights between six to fifteen feet when required. Work Schedule: Must be able to work a 36 -hour work week. More as required. Maintenance Technician

Shift: various start times-various end times Hourly Rate: $28.15 an hour Conagra Brands - Centralia, home of Duncan Hines, is looking to add to our skilled maintenance team. You will work onsite at the Centralia, IL manufacturing plant and report to the production supervisor. Maintenance technicians perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot/repair equipment issues as they arise. Compensation: • Pay range $28.15 - $36.35 / hour depending on experience level • Shift differentials ($0.50 for 2nd shift and $1.00 for 3rd shift) • PTO available to use after 30 days of service / 80 hours total PTO within first year You Will: • Repair and maintain conveyor systems, production machines, and equipment • Install, troubleshoot, replace, repair, adjust and modify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic and pneumatic equipment • Follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using hand tools, power tools, electrical and electronic test equipment • Read, use, and update shop prints and manufacturer's manuals for servicing and installation of equipment and distribution systems • Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety procedures • Create and close out work orders and add specs info to SAP system You Have: • High School diploma or GED • two years prior maintenance experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding in a production environment or two-year technical degree. Position: Mold Design Engineer (Plastic Injection Stretch Blow Mold Tooling) Position Title: Mold Design Engineer (Injection Stretch Blow Mold Tooling) Position Summary: Big 3 Precision Products is currently seeking a Mold Design Engineer, Injection Stretch Blow Mold Tooling. This position, utilizing customer supplied product models and/or part drawing inputs, will design mold tooling for the Injection Stretch Blow Mold tooling industry. The mold design engineer will be responsible for supporting the growth of the Injection Stretch Blow Mold business by producing complex mold drawings/models, manufacturing drawings, and associated engineering documentation. In addition, the position will require project management throughout the entire engineering process. Duties and Responsibilities: • Create 2D and 3D CAD models, layouts, and drawings efficiently and accurately • Create general assemblies and sub-assemblies • Create and enter BOM for all material and hardware • Interface with Sales and Manufacturing with regards to mold and part design • Interface with Customer with regards to product changes and design reviews • Develop and establish design standards and automation for mold design • Participate regularly in process improvement within areas of responsibility • Lead reverse engineering projects with inspection and manufacturing • Occasional travel to Customer for machine measurements and/or tooling installation Minimum Requirements: • Proficiency in using Solidworks software for 2D and 3D CAD • Proficiency in using Autocad software for 2D CAD • Plastic component design / molding design experience • Metal component design / manufacturing design experience • BOM / Revision / Engineering Change Request management • Microsoft Office software as a communication tool • Technical written and oral communication skills • ERP software experience Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year Accredited College or University in Mechanical, Electrical, Plastic or Manufacturing is preferred. • 5+ years Engineering, Manufacturing, or Customer Management experience preferred. • Plastics Injection Stretch Blow Molding experience preferred (Nissei, Aoki, Sidel). • Injection Molding experience preferred. Work Environment: Office / Warehouse environment.
