About the position As a Maintenance Shift Engineer at thyssenkrupp Crankshaft Co LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities in Danville, Illinois. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or closely related field of study, or foreign equivalent degree. , • 2 years of experience in a Maintenance Specialist, Maintenance Engineer, or Maintenance Supervisor position or in a related maintenance engineering role. , • Must have 2 years of work experience in conducting troubleshooting of mechanics and fluid power to return automotive component manufacturing equipment back to production. , • Experience supporting and guiding troubleshooting for repair of complex automotive component manufacturing equipment, including automated machines, robotics, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, and communication systems; directing technical aspects of repair work. , • Experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans on industrial equipment used to manufacture automotive components. , • Experience performing Lean analysis using Lean tools to determine root cause of repeated equipment failures and provide recommendations for improvement.
