Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and repairing various types of vehicles and heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, the ability to work with hand tools, and experience with heavy lifting. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally and safely. Responsibilities • Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals. • Perform repairs on vehicles and heavy equipment, including brake repair and air brake systems. • Assemble and disassemble components as needed for maintenance or repair tasks. • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and Caterpillar machinery. • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of all equipment. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a dealership or similar environment. • Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is highly desirable. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
