Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description Oversee the design and coordination of mechanical systems across multiple projects. Serve as a client-facing engineer, collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders. Develop detailed construction documents, including drawings and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, controls, and specialty piping systems. Conduct construction administration tasks such as reviewing submittals and managing design revisions during construction. Perform system calculations, equipment selection, and layout development from schematic design through construction documents. Research and apply relevant building codes and standards to ensure compliance. Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines, architects, and contractors to deliver integrated and successful project outcomes. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in fire protection. • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Work Environment 95% in office with occasional travel to project locations. Engineers are set up in an open workspace environment. Workday from 8 am to 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
