Date: Dec 11, 2025 Location: Lafayette, IN, US, 47905 Company: Subaru Engineering Analyst Manufacturing Engineering Position Summary: The Administrative Engineering Analyst (CAPEX Analyst) is responsible for various elements of engineering budget oversight and daily departmental operations including processing of section purchase orders, reviewing Capital and Expense Purchase Orders, and budget tracking. This role is responsible for working with all section Budget Controllers and participating in multi-section cost analysis projects. This role is responsible for budgeting including identifying constraints, and likewise identifying methods for resolution. Outline of duties: • Leads section cost benefit analysis and maintains section budget goals. • Works as a liaison between department budget controllers, engineers and leadership to maintain budget targets. • Provides historical analysis of department and multi-section CAPEX budgets to assist with making budgetary decisions. • Lead future fiscal year budget planning initiatives and necessary documentation. • Ensure purchase order and capital expense requisition accuracy. • Maintain compliance of budget documentation and participate in necessary budget focused audits. • Participates in the implementation of all policies and procedures including maintaining ISO within the section. • Assists in preparation and presentation of technical information to colleagues and clients. • Actively pursues new ways of analyzing and communicating data to improve quality. • Conducts audits to ensure that process indicators are being properly tracked and maintained when requested. • Drives Kaizen activity, applies statistical and other improvement tools. Leads and/or supports continuous improvement activities to improve functionality. • Creates and maintains project schedules and punch lists. • Fixed asset lifecycle management including random audits and leading fixed asset inventory activity. • Creates professional documents to record and track measurement results. • Visualization and analytics of budget versus actual targets. • Create, maintain, and coordinate all section budget training. • All other duties as assigned.
