We have immediate job openings for Mechanical Assembly and Lead Mechanical Assembly at our product manufacturing facility located in Lafayette, Indiana. This person will be responsible for the design and integration of all vehicle systems found in today’s wheelchair accessible vehicles and set the overall development strategy, maintaining corporate objectives. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: • Mechanism Design knowledge is a most, expertise preferred, and how to integrate it into the design, considering all Tolerances involved. • Understanding of Vehicle Engineering and Integration. This person will be part of the engineering group with process and project engineers who will assist this person as needed. This person will serve as the Mechanical Integrity Engineer with oversite for all the tanks, piping, and pressure relief valves on site. This engineer will do the complete design and installation of projects up to one million dollars related to the repair or replacement of equipment as needed to bring equipment into compliance.
