Rotating Equipment Mechanic

Your Job Koch Fertilizer Enid, LLC is the largest Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant within Koch, and one of the largest in all North America. We are seeking a Rotating Equipment Mechanic to join our Maintenance team in Enid, Oklahoma. Success in this role offers the opportunity for career advancement within all of Koch. This position works Monday-Thursday (7:00am- 5:30pm) but will require Fridays when needed and will occasionally respond to callouts and work overtime as needed. What You Will Do • Preventative maintenance work and repairs on rotating equipment from small water pumps to high-speed multi-component compressor trains • Predictive maintenance technologies like hand-held vibration monitoring, ultra-sonic detection (UE) and lube-oil analysis (MLT/MLA) on rotating equipment • Alignment of rotating equipment with laser alignment and reverse dial indicators • Precision maintenance repairs and the use of precision measuring tools • Steam turbine preventative maintenance and repair • Horizontal and vertical pump repair • Manage daily workflow activities and work orders utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) • Centrifugal and reciprocating compressor preventative maintenance and repair • Troubleshooting equipment failures and deficiencies • Improve, develop, and implement maintenance process improvements and efficiencies Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) • Experience working with rotating equipment or equivalent education (i.e.: technical training/coursework in a mechanical, industrial, or similar field) Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs from floor to waist • Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs • Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 100 ft • Ability to be medically approved to participate in the respiratory protection and HAZWOPER programs • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions What Will Put You Ahead • Technical or trade school degree/certification, or coursework in a mechanical, industrial, or similar field Experience working in a chemical plant • Experience with the alignment process, pump rebuilds and vibration and oil analysis • Industrial experience working with rotating equipment such as gearboxes, blowers, and/or laser alignments At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs. Design Engineer

Designs, develops, directs, and coordinates the engineering of company products through the consideration of all aspects of a product’s use including visual appeal, safety, accessibility, and affordability. Evaluates user feedback to adjust and improve overall product appeal. Uses scientific processes and mathematical concepts to create innovative solutions to common problems. Mechanical Planner/Coordinator

The Mechanical Planner/Coordinator will be responsible for mechanical planning and estimating of capital projects up to $15M, as well as assisting the Construction Manager and Project Managers with technical details required to install, commission, and start up equipment. This role will work closely with project managers, the scheduler, and construction coordinator to ensure the mechanical scope of work for a project is properly designed, planned, and scoped. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience working in a chemical plant, manufacturing, or refinery environment, with experience in the mechanical field and ability to climb ladders over 100 feet. Additionally, they will have knowledge of current pipe codes and best practices, as well as experience working with Microsoft Project or P6.
