ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in our Logansport, Indiana location. Major responsibilities: • Ensure all processes are set-up and operating as required by the requirements set forth by Company Policies, Customer Requirements, and Regulatory Requirements • Assist in all new process set-ups and changes • Identify and execute solutions for improvements in productivity, costs, quality and safety. • Look for ways to constantly improve productivity, quality and safety. • Ensure that existing product lines are maintained at specified levels. • Strive for Continuous Quality Improvement which includes: • Reviewing defect reports. • Facilitating the resolution of process discrepancies that produce defects or process indicators in customer products. • Identifying design and manufacturing issues causing product defects. • Assure that all ECO's are implemented. Implementation may require revised work instructions, etc. • Develop PPAP documentation associated with new product launches (Control Plan, PFMEA, etc.) • Develop and initiate new tooling, jigs, and fixtures for all manufacturing processes • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a teamwork environment while performing job functions in a timely manner • Provides documentation and technical presentations as required • Performs other duties as assigned or required DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar • Minimum 10 years' Experience preferred • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, along with demonstrated ability to identify and raise concerns • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage and track multiple projects to completion TRAVEL: Travel up to 10% BENEFITS AT COMPAL USA (INDIANA) Inc. • Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Insurance • Lif Insurance • Short- and Long-Term Disability • Excellent 401k Plan with matching contributions • Generous PTO policy • Company paid holidays Compal USA (Indiana) Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
