About the position Responsibilities • Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety. • Maintain an energy management program to ensure efficient operation of all systems. • Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to extend the life of building machinery and systems. • Perform emergency repairs as needed. • Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. • Maintain a clean and safe workplace. • Review inspections of building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operational efficiency. • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. • Coach others and share knowledge of job disciplines within the function. • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. • Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and related teams. • Work within broad guidelines and policies. • Explain difficult or sensitive information. Requirements • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. • Universal CFC certification is preferred. • Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions. • Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred. • Meet the physical requirements of the role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. • Sophisticated math skills to calculate mildly complex figures.
