Machine Operator/Engineer (experienced)

Job Description: NorthAmCon (NACL) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the design (mechanical and functionality) of the system, ensuring that the components of the system fit in the available space, and defining the components needed to accomplish the project requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Review RFC/RFP/RFQ documents and understand design and functional device requirements. • Procure needed documentation for PE submittal process and review documents for Professional Engineering drawings. • Understand the site layout and create/provide needed information for site visits (checklist, drawings, instructions, etc.). • Verify system footprint for NACL equipment, system supporting structure locations, power source locations, and air drop locations. • Define equipment or parts required for a complete solution and create or modify system layouts. • Work with the Project Manager (PM) to create equipment lists and assist with defining project requirements. • Support the PCE with mechanical capabilities and requirements and assist the Design Engineer (DE) with the design of custom parts. • Create, modify, or view SolidWorks or AutoCAD drawings and define product requirements for the Design Engineering team. • Populate and maintain Build Folder documents and ensure designs correlate with customer equipment. • Review and approve equipment, platform, and structure designs in both 2D and 3D formats. • Assist the PM with developing solutions and corrective action plans for functional errors/issues identified prior to shipping equipment. • Coordinate with the PM to facilitate the development of solutions for onsite issues during installation. • Build relations with the Design Engineering team to provide insight and information about equipment. Summary The essential functions of this position include, but are notlimited to; using validated mechanical, technical, physical,communication skills and experience in order to maintain a safe reliable and comfortable health care environment. Carries out the daily corrective and preventative maintenanceroutines of the department and stays abreast of currenttechnological issues in order to make the best positive contribution to patient care. Service, adjust and maintain water softeners, domestic hot and Coldwater systems. Install wiring and conduct under the direct supervision of alicensed electrician. Test and perform minor maintenance on emergency generators,automatic transfer switches, and battery back-up systems.
