Field Mechanical Technician

We are looking for a talented Field Mechanical Technician who is responsible for the installation and repairs of various industrial mechanical and electrical equipment at Customer job sites in accordance with LINK standards and prints. Main Responsibilities Include: • Read and interpret mechanical hydraulic and electrical schematics. • Install mechanical and electrical systems in accordance with LINK standards. • Hoisting heavy machinery into place in a safe and efficient manner. • Inspect and test all machine subsystems to ensure functionality. • Troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and determine causes of operating errors following regular operative procedures to provide a solution. • Perform functional checkout and performance verification of equipment regularly. • Provide efficient solutions to issues encountered in Customer’s job site. • Successfully fulfill field service calls as assigned. • Prompt repair of machinery with some oversight. • Interface with Customer regarding field repairs as required and follow proper communication. • Communicate LINK upgrades and service offerings to Customers as required. • Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment. • All other related duties as assigned. • Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job. • Adhere and perform all duties aligned with the core values of the LINK Group organization, Can-Do Attitude, Courage, Commitment, Humility and Accountability. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 1 year of experience installing and servicing industrial, mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic principles and code requirements. • Proven experience working with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. • Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. • Exceptional troubleshooting skills with an emphasis on root cause analysis. • Moderate level of soldering and de-soldering skills. • Ability to apply logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to technical issues. • Ability to work well in a Team environment. • Hands-on problem solving and continuous improvement support. • Strong Customer orientation. • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Strong independent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Description: General Summary: The Senior Mechanical Designer, with some supervision from the Manager of Mechanical Engineering, will provide or extend mechanical systems design for new construction and/or renovation of industrial, commercial and institutional facilities as requested by the client. The Senior Mechanical Designer will develop construction drawings and specifications, which address the installation, integration, interconnection and control of mechanical components within the standard building codes and will work independently on smaller, less complex projects.
