We’re seeking a diligent, detail-driven professional to provide vital expertise in support of our manufacturing process engineering activities. We’re looking to optimize our efforts in safety, quality, and productivity. This involves applying engineering principles and analytical techniques to advance continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and products. You will: • Provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program through Ok to Buy + 45 days. • Implementation of new/modified tooling and facilities based on product and process changes. • Lead manufacturing assembly builds (DCV, TT, PP, MP1 and MP2) in Canada, Mexico & US assembly plants. • Identify and drive resolution of manufacturing related issues. • Collaborate with multi-functional (PD, STA, MP&L, NMP, MTDC, etc.) activities. • Write/modify/maintain process sheets as required post Final Design Judgement. Write tooling design/build/installation scopes of work. • Lead assembly tooling installation, start-up, and commissioning at the assembly site.
