Job Summary AeroTrain Corp. is seeking a production technician to work at our location in Flint Township, MI. We produce training mockups for aircraft maintenance training schools. We are in need for a productions technician with good mechanical skills and some machining experience. The work hours are 8 am - 6 pm Monday through Thursday, with three days weekend! The new hire will work with other team members to fabricate mechanical parts and to assemble the equipment. The job will include small parts fabrication, minor repairs, and mechanical assembly. some tasks may require parts disassembly, cleaning, and repairing and reassembly. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and dedicated to his/her responsibilities. Qualifications; • Familiar with hand tools and power tools • Some experience with milling machines, band saws, and other fabrication tools • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Able to work well within a team • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Other requirements • Should be able to pass a background check/drug screen • Able to understand and follow instruction with minimum supervision • Able to keep the work area well organized and tidy • Able to install/mount parts and subassemblies by using templates or by reading the measurements. • Able to maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
