NO RELOCATION OR SPONSORSHIP AT THIS TIME The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes, tooling and machining to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. Primary Responsibilities and Key Qualifications: • Improve the throughput of products utilizing various manufacturing processes and workflows • Oversee the implementation of current and new processes and procedures, with emphasis on continuous improvement • Collect and analyze process related data identifying and implementing improvements • Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes to enhance production rates and quality • Investigate and trouble shoot problems that arise from customer complaints, processes, procedures, and/or operations of new and current products • Identify and implement ways to reduce waste and implement standard procedures • Provide manufacturing support for production • Develop and publish SOPs for various manufacturing processes • Conduct time studies for SOP creation, process optimization, and standard routing creation & validation • Contribute to safety and quality issue resolution activities • Design and lead production process related training • May need to assist in technical support within various departments • Work collaboratively with design engineers for product improvement initiatives from manufacturability Experience requirement: • Must have 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment • 3-5 years’ CNC machining experience Knowledge: • Deep background in Industrial Engineering topics and competency • Stong understanding of tooling & fixture design • Project management experience & ability to keep projects on schedule • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing • Proficient in Inventor and/or SolidWorks • Ability to utilize ERM system • Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word Educational requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent Additional requirements • Self-directed and able to work within a team environment • Take responsibility for the assigned tasks and managing multiple projects • Well-organized • Attention to detail • Willingness to be hands-on and eager to learn with heavy presence on manufacturing floor • Proactive and commitment to solve problems “do not let a problem remain before the sunset” • Solid and effective communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal NO RELOCATION OR SPONSORSHIP AT THIS TIME NVE is a US manufacturer of tanker truck equipment for the liquid waste, oil and gas mining and hydro excavation industries.
