Mechanical Electronics Technician

• Coordinate planning, installation, maintenance and support of regional electronic building control, security, and telecommunications systems including, but not limited to, temperature control, security (access control and cameras), intercom, clock, public address, scoreboard, projection, digital signage and telecommunications systems • Install and maintain wiring related to electronic building control, security, telecommunications, and network • Perform software programming, data backup, and restoration functions • Update/Maintain “as built” documentation for regional electronic, building control, security, and telecommunications systems.) • Update/Maintain automatic location information (ALI) for e911 compliance • Provide user training on electronic building control, security and telecommunication systems • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and initiate work orders • Maintain applicable industry certifications • Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting and repair • Assist with set up and configuration of computer workstations and computer-related systems • Manage client software/hardware work orders and maintenance contracts • Provide backup support to other technology staff helping with district projects where needed • Input work order data and labor into computer tracking system • Travel to regional work sites as required • Attend meetings outside of normal working hours as needed for completion of duties • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor • Remain free of substance abuse and/or illegal drug use at all times Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.74 - $26.80 per hour Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: • Sault Sainte Marie, MI 49783 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: • Sault Sainte Marie, MI 49783: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel and Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing various types of Diesel engines and heavy machinery and industrial equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks. The Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic will ensure that all equipment is in optimal working condition to support operational efficiency and as the head of this dept also develop preventive maintenance systems Duties • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in Diesel engines/ heavy equipment, including tractors and trailers. • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on air brake systems, hydraulic systems, and other essential components. • Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to align, suspend, and repair machinery. • Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on equipment. • Ensure a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
