HVAC Installer & Equipment Technician Role Description: The technician is responsible for setting up HVAC, hood ventilation, refrigeration units, food service devices, and shelving when opening new stores or during renovations. They also handle the installation of new equipment required for introducing updated menu items. Primary Duties: • Set up and rectify issues with refrigeration units, HVAC systems, ductwork, food service equipment, hood systems, and shelving according to plans and standards. • Balance HVAC systems alongside fryer and dishwasher hoods. • Coordinate and schedule all equipment installation tasks in the absence of site leadership. • Adhere to safety regulations as stipulated by federal, state, and local laws. • Read, write, and understand instructions, including blueprints, diagrams, and floor plans. • Operate tools, use power equipment, and recognize color codes. • Complete paperwork accurately, including work orders, labor hours, warranty cards, equipment transfers, checklist for new stores, DOT logs, vehicle inspection forms, and procurement card logs. • Barcode and document equipment for monitoring warranties, maintenance, reliability, and technical support. • Ensure all tasks are completed timely and efficiently following company standards.
