What We're Looking For • 3+ Years of HVAC Technician Experience: If you're experienced with heating and cooling systems, you'll fit right in! • Valid Driver's LicenseInsurable Driving Record: You'll be driving to job sites, so reliability and safety are key. • Universal EPA Certification: Required for handling refrigerants. • HVAC Technical School Certificate: Completion of a formal training program is needed. • Ability to Read Wiring DiagramsBlueprints: Troubleshooting and system design experience is a plus. • Experience with a Wide Range of Equipment: From heat pumps to gas furnaces and air conditioning units, your broad knowledge will set you apart. • Hands-On RepairReplacement Experience: Ability to make sound decisions for repairs and system replacements. • Heat Pump, Gas Furnace, and Air Conditioning Experience: If you've worked with these systems, you'll be ready to contribute immediately. • NATE Certification: Preferred, but not required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and air conditioning systems. • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on all HVAC systems for H&W Construction and Aikens Group. • Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain necessary equipment. • Documentation of work accomplished using the H&W Construction eWork Order system. • Analyze, respond, and provide feedback on routine and emergency calls for service. • Complete daily route sheets and weekly reports as needed. • Follow all quality control standards, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures. • Report and advise the management team on the upkeep and maintenance needed for equipment. • Keep not of all maintenance required for the company truck and equipment. • Schedule services, repair as needed within parameters required by each manufacturer. • Perform work in a professional manner. • All other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements: • Must be attentive to details. • 3-5 years experience in HVAC. • Sustain knowledge of current skills of the trade. • Be timely in all communications and requests by ownership. • Must have the ability to handle pressure in meeting deadlines and prioritize tasks. • Must have the ability to work independently and use independent judgment with minimal supervision. • Must produce high-quality work that has been proofed and is error free. • Must provide and maintain own hand tools required for job duties.
