Overview We are seeking an independent, owner operator with the license and ability to be able to buy refrigerant in Either Virginia and West Virginia or both. This person should have the knowledge to work on multiple types and styles of mechanical units. This person should be willing to travel daily to either Springfield, VA., Woodstock, VA. or Martinsburg WV. This person must own their own work vehicle, tools and equipment. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, not including boilers and refrigeration units. • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to identify issues. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality. • Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. • Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately. • Collaborate with design teams for new installations or system upgrades. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems. • Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus. • Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively. • Valid driver's license. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. • Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC are necessary.
