Electrician Level 1

Description Industrial Electrician This role offers a challenging, diverse and exciting opportunity to become part of our Maintenance team. In general, all Electrician roles are required to repair, install, replace, program, and test all electrical circuits, and equipment. Periodically perform or assist others in routine to moderately complex repairs or installation of automatic electrical and electronic controls. What you will do: • Perform routine electrical/electronic preventative maintenance on mill equipment. • Responsible for the repair, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electrical and electronic equipment • Perform tasks like wiring circuits, replacing components, and repairing electronic devices. • Performs test reading using several different instruments, including multi-meter and Megger. • Remain current in technical changes or equipment designs by attending classes as needed. • Work rotating shifts, which includes nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime as scheduled or required. • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment and completing all required training. • Other duties as assigned. Electrical Supervisor

• CLIENT IS PROVIDING A RELOCATION ASSISTANCE WITH GOOD BONUS & ALL BENEFITS* Description The Electrical Controls Supervisor will be a key contributor in supporting the operational and maintenance objectives of the organization to achieve top quartile mill performance. This role is responsible for troubleshooting all electrical, instrumentation, and process malfunctions, including issues related to mechanical power transmission equipment, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and overhaul automatic control valves, sensors, positioners, actuators, electrical AC/DC systems, variable frequency drives, smart motor controllers, motion control systems and other related systems. In addition to these technical responsibilities, the Electrical Controls Supervisor will lead and manage a team of skilled Control Technicians and Electricians. This includes overseeing daily operations, scheduling maintenance tasks, monitoring training needs, and ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and performance standards, as well as managing and recording craftsmen’s time, ensuring accurate time tracking and reporting for payroll and operational analysis. The Supervisor will monitor the team's productivity, provide technical guidance, and support their professional development through training and mentorship. Responsibilities: · Work with the electrical team at the facility and will be responsible for helping to maintain and improve the PLC and other automation control systems while ensuring that all work is completed in a safe reliable manner. · Demonstrated ability to train/impart knowledge to mill personnel. Bring the skill level at the mill up to match the systems now in place. · Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and work with mill-level personnel, develop an understanding of mill needs, and deliver the required help in an effective manner. · Demonstrated ability to manage and develop electrical technicians · Excellent troubleshooting skills – Drives, PLC issues, RMC’s, E300’s, Armorblocks, Encoders, Temposonics, HMI’s and electrical control issues. · Responsible for maintenance and care of the various optimization systems (software and hardware). · Willingness to respond to emergency situations at a given mill, bring a “whatever it takes” mindset to the position. · Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and help local mill management see the same. Aid mill in implementing these improvements. · Assist as required in project planning, startups, helping the mill to meet/exceed ramp expectations. Ability to work with vendors and help expeditiously move the mill beyond the vendors' expertise.
