Must be capable of assisting with other engineering trades such as mechanical and maintenance technicians. Accountabilities • Tests and maintains the emergency generators and emergency power systems on a weekly basis and documents all test results. 20% • Repairs and maintains fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.15% • Performs scheduled tests to comply with JCAHO, DHEC, and other standards. Attends training to achieve 90% attendance as required by JCAHO. 15% • Performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and records appropriately. Maintenance Electrician - EMR/Maintenance Technician

Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems The EMR/Maintenance Technician – Electrician position is a part of the maintenance team and will be asked to assist with general maintenance in addition to electrician duties. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our machinery and infrastructure. In addition, this position is required to respond to medical emergencies on campus throughout the shift. Still Hopes will provide EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) training if not already certified. Key Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions. • Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards or malfunctions. • Repair or replace defective electrical components, wiring, or fixtures. • Install new electrical systems and equipment as needed. • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times. • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure optimal performance of equipment. • When acting as an EMR, respond to medical emergencies on campus throughout the shift (training provided). Ideal candidates should have four or more years experience in general maintenance plus two or more years work experience as a licensed journeyman electrician in an apartment, retirement community and/or hospital type environment. Must have customer service training and/or one year customer service experience and computer training and/or one year computer experience. Candidates should be detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task and problem solve. Candidates must possess at a minimum a high school diploma or G.E.D. and an electrical license.
