Journeyman Electrician Lead

This position also includes training apprentices and ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Day Shift Schedule: 6 AM - 6 PM, 2-2-3 schedule Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain, inspect, and modify electrical equipment and processes. • Lead plant projects and serve as the point of contact for contractors. • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical circuits. • Install new electrical circuits as needed. • Bend and install electrical conduit, adhering to local and national codes. • Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, and equipment controls. • Assist production personnel with troubleshooting electrical production issues. • Adhere to strict safety practices. • Comply with NEC electrical standards and codes. • Read blueprints and electrical drawings for installations. • Cover for the maintenance manager when unavailable. Other Duties and Responsibilities: • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. • Safety Protocol: • Address any unsafe acts and comply with safety rules. • Correct or report observed safety hazards. • Support safety policies and initiatives. What You Need to Join Our Team: • High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Completion of coursework in the Electrical trade. • Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Experience Required: • At least four years of experience in the electrical trade. • Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical prints and circuits. • Experience with three-phase motors, transformers, and control circuits. Certification/Licensure Required: • A state Master's Electrician or Journeyman's Electrician license is required.
