Duties include: Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems in municipal facilities; install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment, worn and obsolete equipment; installation, maintenance of electronic traffic controls, street light systems, traffic control systems; installation, maintenance and repair of emergency systems in municipal buildings; maintenance or records preparation; locating of underground city-owned electrical systems; maintain clerical, activity, financial, and other records as required. HOURS: Normally scheduled hours include Monday – Friday from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. as well as being frequently available for emergency response during off-shift hours as well as participating in the on-call rotation. REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from high school and four or more years of experience in electrical construction and maintenance work. Special requirements include possession of a Journeyman Electrician license issued by the State of Wisconsin and a valid Wisconsin Commercial "Class B" Driver's License without air brakes restriction.
