Journeyman Electrician

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Layout and installation of electrical systems. • Layout and installation of electrical conduits, boxes and wires. • Installation and termination of devices and switchgear. • Operate and maintain various electronic and electric measuring and testing devices such as voltmeters, ammeters and multi-testers to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. • Maintain accurate records such as material lists, work reports, work orders and time sheets. • Perform related duties as assigned. • Enforce a safe job site and maintains compliance with company safety, OSHA and customer-specific safety standards. • Give clear instruction to apprentices and provide them with the understanding of duties required to complete tasks. Qualifications: • Commercial electrical experience required. • Valid State of Wisconsin journeyman or master electrical license. • Be able to work as a member of a team. • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to stand, sit and bend for up to 10 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs at any time. • Have a positive attitude and an open mind.

Electrical Journeyman

Position Overview Green Bay Packaging Inc., Green Bay Paper Mill Division is seeking additional Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to provide support for electrical, instrumentation, and control applications for all paper mill operations. Technicians in this position will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s PLC, DCS, Drives, Power Distribution, motors, and I/O field devices. Responsibilities • Provide hands-on technical support to all manufacturing operations for instrumentation and electrical control applications, including paper machine, secondary fiber, automated warehouse, effluent treatment, and boiler room • Support process control systems and associated field devices • Support PLCs, HMI, Drives, and other control systems • Support 13.8 kV Power Distribution, Substations, MVSs, MCCs, 4160V and 480V motors • Support operations and troubleshooting of issues • Support capital projects installations of instrumentation and control devices • Manage changes to our systems by keeping programs backed-up and updating documentation, schematics, and drawings • Successfully support daily activities, periodic shutdowns for fabric changes/maintenance, long-term planning and capital projects related to the process controls and E&I department • Support Reliability programs such as Thermography, Ultrasound, Motor and Power Analysis • 12-hour rotating 4-On 4-Off shift work may be required. Positions filled by shop seniority. Qualifications • Technical degree or Journeyman certificate in industrial E&I type field with relevant experience • Paper mill or other industrial manufacturing experience preferred • Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively deliver and reinforce consistent messages at all levels • Strong team player who can effectively work with others to meet objectives and timelines • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of various electrical sensors, switches, controllers, instrumentation, transmitters, automated valves, calibrations, industrial communications, robotics, motion control and AC/DC control power • Programming experience including the ability to create, monitor, modify PLC and DCS control logic • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including periods of time in noisy, dusty, hot or cold environments • Ability to work with plant personnel, engineering groups, and outside contractors to ensure the proper execution of work • Prioritization of time and work • Use of self-initiative and independence to complete tasks with urgency and meet deadlines • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive wage, rates starting at $38.11 per hour. Electrical Foreman

The Licensed Foreman I is responsible for supervising electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial and industrial settings. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) Travel: 60-75% Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • All previous classification requirements must be continually satisfied. • Maintains current licensing and training requirements. • Demonstrates ability to run medium-size projects (5-10 electricians) effectively. • Establish expectations and motivates crews to consistently meet or beat goals. • Consistently completes projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner. • Demonstrates ability to complete basic paperwork (i.e., foreman logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, time cards, etc.) in a timely manner. • Effectively manages resources (tools, equipment, staffing) within crew. • Reads and understands estimates, with the assistance of project management or superintendent, as a part of the installation and layout of a project. • Consistently provides feedback and coaching to crew members including utilizing the Field Evaluation form/process. • Takes the initiative to run a thorough ORM. Is conscious of safe and unsafe acts on the jobsite and addresses and eliminates hazards accordingly. Consistently enforces and promotes workplace safety procedures (weekly toolbox talks, weekly safety audits, appropriate documentation, etc.) • Actively mentors and develops others within projects and crews. • Supports usage of Faith internal resources to include, but not limited to Excellerate, Precon, APC, Productivity, Engineering, Estimating, etc. • Maintains compliance with company policies; consults with HR and/or Workforce Managers (PM if appropriate) to ensure consistent corrective measures are taken, and documentation completed. • Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques. • Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate. • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
