JOB OVERVIEW As a Construction Electrician at Robinson, you will play a crucial role in all electrical work related to our manufacturing processes. This includes bending conduit, pulling wire, working with control circuitry, and interpreting electrical blueprints. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Pull wire and terminate devices such as receptacles, switches, motors, and other electrical components. • Work with panel boards, transformers, and distribution equipment in accordance with industry standards. • Execute duties typical of a Commercial/Industrial Construction Electrician, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. • Prioritize and plan work activities effectively, managing time efficiently to meet project objectives. • Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating effectively with colleagues, offering assistance, and responding positively to feedback. • Adhere to safe manufacturing and material handling practices to maintain a secure work environment. • Fulfill additional job duties as assigned by the company, remaining flexible and adaptable to changing needs. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. • Working knowledge of NEC electrical codes and proficient conduit bending skills. • Experience with panel boards, transformers, and distribution equipment preferred. • State journeymen or Masters license is a plus. • 2-3 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work preferred. • Medium voltage and electronics experience is advantageous. PREFERRED SKILLS • Experience with fabrication or machining is desirable. • Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately. • Strong references demonstrating excellent work attendance and a positive attitude. Electrical Tech A (3rd Shift)

Electrical Tech (3rd Shift) PAY GRADE: V(a) (without license); V(c) (with license) JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs a variety of activities with the ability to identify and implement efficient paths of action to finish the assigned work. Must be able to perform assigned work to acceptable quality and proficiency levels with ability to exercise independent judgment and to establish and maintain solid working relationships with others. Should be able to test, calibrate, diagnose, and repair various devices. Good communication and organization skills. Should be able to perform the listed duties, but not limited to, with minimal supervision and/or assistance from supervisor or Electrical Engineering within the Maintenance Group. PRINCIPLE DUTIES: • Facilities maintenance requires the performance of tasks incidental to preserving or improving the physical structure. • Repairing and replacing defective parts in motors, controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors and other electrical fixtures. • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including transformers and Hydraulic and pneumatic devices. • Performing preventive repair and maintenance of plant and shop electronic and electrical systems, devices, equipment and components. • Testing solid-state circuitry to find defective parts in digital and analog equipment and replacing defective parts. • Apply electrical theory or related knowledge in testing and modifying operational or developmental electrical control circuitry of equipment within the facility. • Utilizing specialized digital cameras and thermo-graphic imaging to perform infrared analysis and examination of facilities equipment. • Designing and modifying motor power control equipment circuits, reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics. • Planning and laying work orders or work from instructions, using sketches, blueprints, and drawings. • Making sure the accurate and appropriate completion of all preventive electrical Technician duties. • Modify electrical prototypes in order to correct operational deviations under the general direction of an Electrical Engineer. • Willing and able to operate Powered Industrial Truck Equipment (scissor lifts, etc.). • Implement the company’s safety procedures. TOOLS: • Provide own hand tools and measuring devices common to these job requirements. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: • Requires knowledge gained from related training and practical experience as an Industrial Electrical Technician. Must be able to perform assigned work to acceptable quality and proficiency levels. • Ability to use shop math, basic precision measuring devices, knowledge of the trade, ability to read and interpret electrical prints and drawings. • Ability to identify and recommend efficient paths of action to finish the assigned work. • Ability to exercise supervised judgment. • Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with others. • Should be able to test, calibrate, diagnose, and repair various devices. • Good communication and organization skills. • Three years’ experience in Industrial Electrical Technician field or Certification in Electrical Technician field from an accredited institution. Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer coordinates the electrical work of the project assigned, from Engineering through to the hands-on installation of electrical systems to ensure that the goals of the project are accomplished within established time frames and funding parameters. This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continuous basis. It does not exclude other duties as assigned. Essential Job Functions • Extract requirements from Classification Society or Flag State regulations and incorporate them into the project-specific designs • Prepare or oversee the creation of electrical load analysis for AC & DC systems • Prepare or oversee the preparation of technical specifications for the purchase of vessel electrical equipment • Collaborate with Burger purchasing department to obtain quotations and select suppliers for significant electrical equipment • Request part numbers and submit accurate bills of material for vessel electrical designs • Primary responsibility for the design work associated with the following Burger Knowledge Base categories: wire ways, AC power systems, DC power systems, Centralized Monitoring system, vessel lighting system, vessel receptacles, and fire detection system • Primary Burger responsibility, in collaboration with outside suppliers, for the design work associated with the following Burger Knowledge Base categories: audio/visual electronics system, navigation and communication electronics system, computer/IT system, and security system • Prepare or oversee the creation of electrical wiring diagrams for all vessel systems as required • Maintain design status and provide regular updates for the purpose of engineering reporting • Gather documentation related to vessel electrical equipment • Prepare electrical system commissioning documents including quality check sheets, functional tests, and operational signoffs • Provide production support regarding electrical designs to ensure that designs are clearly understood • Provide electrical installation, trouble shooting, and expertise • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines relative to the layout of electrical equipment and to ensure that equipment chosen by others is appropriate for the vessel • Assist in developing new project material and labor estimates relative to the electrical systems • Understand and monitor the project ‘Look Ahead’ schedule • Work with other trade managers and coordinators to create weekly work plans for all electrical department activities • Ensure all electrical work, including the work of any electrical vendors on the project, is done in accordance with Burger Boat Company standards of quality and workmanship as defined by technical drawings, design briefs, vessel specifications and knowledge base information • Verify locations for electrical installations in interior spaces • Recognize and replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors and position sensing devices • Assist the Metals department with installation of electrical foundations and bracketing (hot work) for all electrical installations, including wire ways, subpanels, AC & DC equipment • Ensure each employee knows what is expected of him or her (including how long each task should take) • Communicate clearly with Project Management and other departments concerning materials, technical requirements, manpower, scheduling, and work coordination, change orders, etc. • Estimate material (non-BOM / consumables) needs and develop material take-offs as required • Estimate material delivery dates per the production schedule; Procure all needed work materials for the electrical department from the warehouse two weeks in advance of the actual need • Support Project Management in keeping job packets current and in good order • Ensure Electrician’s shop, materials storage, and workspaces are kept in a clean and safe working condition • Attend meetings as required • Provide subcontractor support where planned or required • Work with all Managers, Engineering, and Warranty/CRM personnel to identify and implement strategies Leadership • The Electrical Engineer does not directly manage other employees but leads the electrical employees while working with them in a hands-on role • Assist in the training and mentoring of all electrical employees • The Electrical Engineer reports to the Director of Engineering Decision Making Exercise judgment on a regular and continuous basis and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people and quality of service within the operational area. Communication The Electrical Engineer works with many neighboring departments, with senior management, with purchasing, as well as with vendors and occasionally clients or client representatives. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills. Will be asked to coordinate and assist electricians, meet and plan with other departments, including engineering and design, and document training, production, test results, and more. Education A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Experience • Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems required • Ability to read and work from blueprints and other technical drawings • Experience working with AutoCAD and in a Marine environment preferred • Knowledge and experience of the Microsoft platform (primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook) • Knowledge of AutoCAD and other Engineering software programs Physical Requirememts The Electrical Engineer works in both an office/desk setting as well as on the production floor and on the vessel. Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolds, work in confined spaces, bend, squat, kneel, etc. Must be able to occasionally lift at least 30 pounds. Will work in an environment with noise, occasional heat or cold, and other factors.
