POSITION: Industrial Electrician FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly POSITION SUMMARY: The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced industrial environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control systems in compliance with company standards and safety regulations. TROUBLESHOOTING • Diagnose electrical issues in complex machinery and control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems and equipment are operating efficiently and reliably. • Inspect 3-phase wiring and assess electrical components of rolling and portable equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveying systems, and various motor controls. REPAIRS • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, wiring, and circuit boards, ensuring that any issues are addressed in a timely manner. UPGRADES & MODIFICATIONS • Assist with the installation of new electrical equipment or modifications to existing equipment to improve functionality and production efficiency. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION • High school diploma or equivalent • Completion of an apprenticeship program in electrical systems or a related field preferred LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (State of Wisconsin preferred) • Additional certifications such as OSHA or NFPA 70E are a plus • Must provide standard tools.
