Support Engineering, Field Service, Sales and customer service in providing quality work and suggestions to reduce/eliminate any problems causing repeat equipment failures. • Diagnose problems in malfunctioning equipment. • Determine the faulty part, decide if it can be fixed or needs replacement. • Test and adjust electronic equipment to ensure they are in optimal working order. • Repair/assemble ARIES Electronic Controls. • Repair/assemble ARIES interconnect cable. • Inspect parts for surface defects. Required Skills: • Be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. • Must have a good knowledge of basic hand tool and the ability to use them. • Be able read and understand DVM. • Ability to recognize wiring or device components that require repair or replacement and carry out those tasks. Required Experience and Education: • High School Diploma or GED, with 3-5 years of field experience or • Technical Diploma from a technical or vocational school including instruction in basic electronics, electronics manufacturing, AC/DC circuits, business practices, math, computer science, computer-aided design and English composition. Preferred Qualifications: • Certificate as Certified Technician by ETA (Electronic Technician Association) and/or the International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians (ISCET).
