Position Summary: Ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper installation, maintenance, and repair. Work as part of a team to improve plant reliability and efficiency. Daily communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Planner to improve plant reliability. Responsibilities: • Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and demos the electrical parts of industrial equipment and facilities • Provide safe, reliable and efficient operation by observing the local, state, and national • electrical-code regulations that pertain to the work being done • Log time and material usage into CMMS for PMs and corrective maintenance • Assists in supporting the company's preventative maintenance program • Maintain proper housekeeping in all areas • Assist in other areas of plant maintenance as required • All other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: • Licensed Journeyman, preferred • Installing and repairing electrical components such as electrical panels, breakers, wiring systems, and controls • Bending and installing conduit • Pulling wire for installs • Installing an array of fixtures • Threading and installing hanging anchors • Cleaning circuit boards and contacts • Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc. • Electrical troubleshooting knowledge • Ability to understand schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents • Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers at all levels • Must exemplify the ability to work with minimal supervision.
