What you will do Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant electromechanical systems, this position is crucial in ensuring optimal plant uptime. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. • Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment. Effectively troubleshoot and repair complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems. • Inventory and Quality Control: Maintain parts and equipment inventory. Verify part dimensions conform to specifications. Ensure all systems, equipment, and apparatus are safe for operation. • Administrative Duties: Complete and maintain required paperwork, records, and documentation. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System procedures. • Continuous Improvement: Assist in the electromechanical technician training program. Participate on cross-functional teams to improve processes, methods, productivity, and quality while reducing costs. What you need to have • Education and Experience: Technical Degree in related field, journeyman’s card, or five plus years’ related experience as an industrial maintenance technician (electrical/mechanical). • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex documents, operate/maintain electrical and mechanical testing equipment, use precision measuring equipment, and operate hand and power tools. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and experience with welding/torch equipment. • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees, focusing on customer service. • Physical Requirements: Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs., and ability to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation. • Preferred Experience: Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting Allen Bradley and /or Siemens PLCs and Drives. Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer

Basic Position Objective Statement: The Electrical Engineer performs project engineering work including primarily electrical power, drives and instrumentation for the paper mill and support facilities. This position also assists in PLC procurement, programming, electrical, instrument, and controls related maintenance activities Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Lead and direct electrical reliability and maintenance activities. • Drive safety and compliance excellence through effective work execution, personally modeling safe behaviors. • Ensure safe electrical work practices and arc flash prevention in accordance with GP ESWP standards, National Electrical Code, and NFPA 70E. • Ensure proper operation, inspection, and repair of electrical power distribution equipment, maintaining standards of NFPA 70B and NETA MTS-2019. • Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices (NFPA70, NEC, ANSI, OSHA). • Provide expertise on Transformers, Motors, VFDs, starters, relays, and PLCs. • Develop asset strategies, end of life strategies, and implementation of continuous condition monitoring. • Work with project managers on planning, development, and execution of electrical capital projects. • Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis on electrical equipment failures. • Responsible for maintaining mill electrical model up to date, by conducting electrical calculations on loads, equipment sizing, grounding touch and step potentials, short circuit studies, protective devices, electrical drawings, protective relays, and substations. • Responsible for maintaining transformer maintenance and oil health program. • Manage outside engineering and electrical contractor resources as required. • Remain current on electrical standards, techniques, and practices. • Coordinate machine or mill shutdown work or projects. • Develop electrical standards and specification for 110V, 480V, and 4160V equipment that is used in the mill including electrical isolation for lockout/tagout. • Oversee the mill’s electrical documentation program. Includes one-line diagrams, PID’s, loop sheets, and all documentation of electrical power distribution and controls. • Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Education and Training Qualifications and Certifications: • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering • Four (4) plus years electrical power distribution experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or military environment • Strong technical skills in electrical and instrumentation systems • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence) • A current professional engineering license in Wisconsin is a plus.
