It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence. Description Of Work The Electrician II position is a journey-level role focused on the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. Working independently under general supervision, Electrician IIs perform tasks according to accepted trade practices, with complex assignments typically accompanied by blueprints or sketches. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing or replacing wiring, electrical devices, medical equipment, and machinery, as well as installing new circuits and entertainment equipment. Preventive maintenance is regularly conducted to ensure continued functionality and safety of systems. Electrician IIs must follow all safety and health protocols, including proper lifting techniques, use of protective gear, and compliance with infection control guidelines. All incidents must be reported immediately, and additional duties may be assigned to support the effective management of Caswell Center and the well-being of its clients. Knowledge Skills And Abilities/Management Preferences Recruitment Range: $39, 671.00 - $69,426.00 • Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus To qualify for the Sign-on Bonus, a newly hired permanent full-time or permanent part-time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible. Those who are eligible and working less than 40 hours a week will receive a prorated rate.
