Residential Electricians and Helpers

Experienced Residential Electricians wanted for an electrical contractor in Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas. Previous experience is required. Eligible candidates will work through all phases of Residential Electrical installation for new construction and remodels. Responsibilities: • Electrical installations for new construction and remodels for rough-in and finish work • Ensure compliance with NEC guidelines and local building code • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics, and other reference materials to determine appropriate job requirements • Troubleshoot to identify and resolve electrical issues • Complete assigned jobs on time, while staying as clean and organized as possible • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used • Follow all safety rules and address any safety hazards appropriately • Pay will be based on experience and will increase with proven skills and performance Requirements / Qualifications: • Residential electrical experience is required • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations • Ability to work independently and as part of team • Detail oriented • Ability to work in various environments and conditions, including climbing, crawling, and working at heights • Transportation to and from work (Valid driver's license) • Come to work on time daily (Monday through Friday) with appropriate attire. • Ability to SAFELY use hand/power tools and equipment • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs when required on the job and load and unload materials. • Must climb a ladder with materials/tools and work from the ladder safely. • Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment. • Work well with others. • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead. • Comply with all company policies and procedures. • May perform other duties or be required to work in different projects as needed • Availability to work overtime when or if needed. Electrical Technician

Industrial Electrician 8080 Northpoint Blvd Winston Salem, NC 27106 Shift: Night shift Pay: $33.75/hr-$38.15/hr SUMMARY Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems, including the plant's main power supply system. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities depending upon area of assignment including performing basic trade activities such as electrical, plumbing and carpentry work. • Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment. • Repairs electrical equipment/systems and control circuits; and replaces faulty electrical equipment as needed. This troubleshooting element is inclusive of Three Phase Motors and Programmable Logical Controls (PLC) applications. • Must have a strong working knowledge of relay logic and be capable of applying this knowledge in the troubleshooting of the PLC's in the production equipment. • Must have a strong understanding of NFPA 70E standards and be capable of applying these standards in the work situation. Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services; and replaces and repairs wiring as needed (including computer cable). • Consults with Maintenance Manager, as needed, on electrical system issues; and, as assigned, serves in a project coordination role monitoring the activities of outside contractors. • Maintains and repairs a variety of hand and power tools ensuing they are in safe and efficient working order. • Performs preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts. • May operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems. • Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems and other mechanical systems on production equipment to assure optimum performance of that production process. • Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. • Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures, records work completed using JD Edwards software and maintains revision control of programs and associated documentation. • Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or another member of the leadership team. • Will be required to program drives from multiple manufacturers - ABB, Eurotherm, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, RSLogix training.Connects to PLC's, reviews and debugs code, usually with the assistance of OEM. • Candidate must obtain a boiler license with in a 12 month period. Preferred qualifications: Master's electrician license, Industrial maintenance associate degree or certification.
