Job Summary This position is part of the Electric Distribution Planning team. The Electric Distribution Planning Engineer is responsible for electric distribution system load forecasting, capacity planning, project development, work plan prioritization, and lifecycle asset replacement programs that ensure safe, reliable, cost-effective, and responsive delivery of electric service to customers. Job Responsibilities • Apply sound and diversified knowledge of power distribution engineering principles and practices as well as make independent decisions concerning an assigned planning area. • Collaborate with Electric Operations supervisors and designers, area reliability and customer service managers, system operations center supervisors and dispatch personnel, substation construction and maintenance supervisors, and field construction work groups. • Perform on-call responsibilities as part of an on-call rotation. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering • Valid driver’s license • Relevant engineering experience Preferred Qualifications • Strong understanding of the design and function of the electric distribution system and power distribution equipment. • Professional engineering license in the state of Wisconsin. End Date: 05/21/2025 Pay Range Minimum: $66,898.00 Pay Range Maximum: $132,708.94 The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
